About the seminar
Whereas the hardware story of the modern digital computer is rather straight forward, the development of algorithms and software for "programmable" machines is less intuitive and sometimes underestimated. This talk aims to light up some unexpected, speculative or humorous issues from the history of hardware and software and follows a pictorial route through the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum in Paderborn.
